CATI portable emissions measurement systems (PEMS) are capable of measuring second-by-second mass emissions on a variety of vehicles and engines during real world, in-use operation. They are versatile, compact, lightweight, and easily installed, on any vehicle within minutes.
The ultimate product that CATI provides is real-world vehicle emissions information. This information, built from data a PEMS collects, is crucial for quantifying the benefits of any emissions reduction strategy; traffic pattern adjustment, diesel retrofit, hybrid technologies, fuel additive / catalyst, run-time reduction, maintainance schedule, or planning, programming and coordination of transit investments.

Axion R/S (Research/Scientific)
The Axion is the flagship product of C.A.T.I. and has been used for over a decade to measure mass emissions from vehicles with electronically controlled spark ignition (SI) and compression ignition engines. The unit provides HC, CO, CO2, NOx, and O2 readings for gasoline powered engines and NOx, CO, CO2, O2, and PM readings for diesel vehicles.
Weight : 35 lbs. / 16 kgs.
Length : 21.7 " / 550 mm
Width : 16.9 " / 430 mm
Height : 8.5 " / 215 mm
Axion BakPak
BakPakcapitalizes on size and flexibility, just as it's name suggests. BakPak allows testing to occur in situations where size, space and speed are at the highest premium.
As an option, BakPak can also be equipped with a custom carry solution. The carry system will allow for a safety breakaway in case immediate exit of a smaller vehicle is warranted or required.
Weight: 15lbs. / 7.25kgs.
Length: 20" / 508mm
Width: 12" / 305mm
Height: 8.5" / 215mm
AxionGO

AxionGO is the equally powerful, yet compact version of Axion. AxionGO boasts the same measuring capabilities of Axion, using the identical instruments that have been used for over a decade to measure mass emissions from vehicles with electronically controlled spark ignition (SI) and compression ignition engines.
The unit provides HC, CO, CO2, NOx, and O2 readings for gasoline powered engines and NOx, CO, CO2, O2, and PM readings for
diesel vehicles. Pollution concentrations are obtained from the tailpipe by a sample probe. This data is combined with exhaust flow data calculated using engine information read from the vehicle‟s engine control unit.
Weight: 18lbs. / 8.2kgs.
Length: 16.7" / 425mm
Width: 13.4" / 340mm
Height: 6.8" / 170mm

EDR Module™
In keeping with the immediacy of data requirements, GlobalMRV has developed an “Emissions Data Relay” or “EDR™” Module. The EDR™ is a main processing unit for collecting vehicle performance data and directly communicates with all standard on-board electronic computer interface (ECI) systems. Utilizing GlobalMRV patented and patents-pending technologies, this data is combined with ePASS™ data and wirelessly transmitted via a secure network to a designated platform, whether that is a notebook computer within the tested vehicle, a hand held computer in a chase vehicle, temporary facility within the testing routes, or even a main computer database at a facility hundreds or even thousands of miles away.
By providing the quickest and most flexible means of measurement and the subsequent communication of that measurement, compliance tasks become much easier for any fleet manager.
